Ambulatory specialist care

You are welcome to our reception — we care about your health!

Out patient care allows you to receive the medical support you need without being admitted to hospital. We make sure that the entire journey — from admission and testing to diagnosis and treatment recommendations — runs smoothly for you.

Information about booking appointments can be found below under the relevant service.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time to allow for registration.

Referral

In most cases, a referral from a GP or specialist is required to attend an appointment with a consultant. Under the Health Insurance Act, referrals are not required for appointments with a gynaecologist, psychiatrist, ophthalmologist, dentist, or dermatologist. A referral is also not required for private (self-funded) appointments. If you attend an appointment without a referral from a GP or specialist, you will be required to pay for the consultation, as well as for any tests, investigations, or procedures carried out.

Only one appointment may be booked per referral, whether the referral is submitted electronically or in paper form.

Appointments

An appointment must be booked in advance in order to see a specialist. Appointments can be arranged by calling 626 1314, via the online portal, or in person at the reception desk of the health centre.

Reception desk

Please bring a photo ID to your appointment (passport/driver's license/pension certificate/ID card/student ticket). On arrival, please report to the health centre reception desk. If applicable, you will be required to pay either the standard appointment fee or the fee for a private (self-funded) consultation. The reception staff will also provide you with the room number for your appointment.

The price list of paid services is available on the hospital website and at the health centres.

Visiting fee

The specialist consultation fee is €20. This can be paid in cash or by card at the health centre reception desk, or by bank transfer via the online patient portal.
