Who do we provide assistance to?
Emergency dental care is a paid service. For insured persons under 19 years of age, dental care is covered by the Health Insurance Fund.
For adult patients, the Health Insurance Fund covers treatment only in cases of true dental emergencies, as determined by the dentist.
IMPORTANT
Not all urgent dental issues are considered part of emergency dental care.
Free emergency care is provided only if delaying or not providing treatment is life-threatening or potentially life-threatening.
If the condition does not fall under emergency dental care, the treatment is paid.
Whether a condition qualifies as an emergency is decided by the dentist.
For more information, visit the Health Insurance Fund website.
