Care for uninsured patients
Non-insured individuals who are residents of Tallinn receive outpatient care from a specialist doctor at the Nõmme Health Centre (Jaama 11).
Outpatient appointments with a specialist doctor are available to all residents of Tallinn for free.
Please note: from December 22 to December 31, appointments for uninsured patients of Tallinn will not be available at the Nõmme Health Centre (Jaama 11). For emergency medical care, we ask patients to contact the Emergency Medical Centre (Paldiski mnt 68).
Attending your appointment
- Outpatient specialist consultations take place on Mondays and Thursdays from 8am to 12pm.
- An identity document must be brought with you.
- Before seeing the specialist, you need to register at the health centre reception desk.
- Appointments are provided on a walk-in-basis (no pre-registration), so we ask patients to take waiting times into account.
Uninsured individuals who are not registered as residents of Tallinn will be required to pay for consultations, tests, investigations, and procedures.
Please note: for urgent medical care, patients should attend the nearest hospital Emergency Department.
Repeat prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions can be requested through your GP surgery. They may also be ordered online via the Benu on the pharmacy website or directly at selected Benu pharmacies.
