About the department
The main task of the Personnel Service is to organise and oversee the hospital’s human resources and workplace environment activities, as well as staff training and professional development.
The service ensures accurate and compliant personnel documentation and record-keeping, coordinates training and development initiatives, and organises supervision to promote a safe and supportive working environment

Personnel service units
West Tallinn Central Hospital is more than just a healthcare provider – it is a place where compassion, professionalism and team spirit create a strong foundation for the wellbeing of both patients and staff.
The Training and Development Department offers continuing medical education to staff of West Tallinn Central Hospital as well as to colleagues from other healthcare institutions.
The Simulation Centre offers unique team-based simulation training in the management of critical conditions in childbirth and neonatal care, as well as practical gynaecological endoscopy training in accordance with the GESEA programme.
