To vaccinate an at-risk patient (child or adult), a referral from a family doctor or specialist to an infectious disease doctor is required. E-consultation is recommended.
General information on vaccine availability, the outpatient centre opening hours, and doctor availability can be obtained by calling the reception desk on 659 8594 or 626 1314.
Additional information on vaccination can be found on the website of the Estonian Health Board: www.vaktsineeri.ee.
Our travel advisor will provide you with the necessary information about any infectious diseases or other health risks that may be present in the country you are travelling to. At the reception, you will discuss the details of your trip with a counsellor, who will prepare a personal vaccination plan. You will also receive recommendations on which medicines and other health protection products to take with you on your trip.
Our clinic also issues international certificates for yellow fever vaccination, which may be required for obtaining a visa for certain countries and for entry into the country.
Travel advice is a paid service, and prior registration is required by phone on 659 8594 or 626 1314. Additional information can be obtained by emailing: vaktsineerimine@keskhaigla.ee.
We issue certificates confirming the absence of an infectious disease. To obtain a certificate, prior registration is required by phone on 659 8594 or 6261314. The issuance of the certificate costs €20, in addition to the cost of any required tests. See the Health Insurance price list for details.
We have an anonymous clinic where HIV counselling and testing are provided, ensuring that this service is available free of charge to anyone who wishes to use it. Everyone is welcome, but especially those at increased risk.
Services offered:
- voluntary and free HIV counselling and testing
- testing for hepatitis if required
- free condoms
To receive your test results, please attend the outpatient centre in person. Results will not be given over the phone.
The centre is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) is recommended for HIV-negative individuals at high risk of HIV infection, particularly men who have sex with men. A 50% discount applies for those with health insurance.
Book an appointment with an infectious disease specialist to receive a PrEP prescription (a referral is recommended). Regular testing is required, and prescriptions are renewed every three months.
Before prescribing PrEP, we assess risks and perform any necessary tests.
