Hospital pharmacy


The primary role of the hospital pharmacy is to provide high-quality pharmaceutical services to the hospital’s clinical departments, including:

  • procurement of medicines and pharmacy supplies based on clinical need, ensuring correct storage and safe dispensing
  • secure handling and regulatory reporting of controlled and psychotropic medicines
  • safe management and disposal of medicinal products, with accurate record-keeping
  • preparation, labelling, and dispensing of both batch-produced and extemporaneously prepared medicines
  • preparation and quality control of purified water
