Booking an appointment
Referral
We provide specialised medical care. Patients must first be referred by a GP (General Practitioner), who will then issue a referral to a specialist if necessary. Before booking an appointment, please ensure that your health information (including the referral) is accessible for the doctor via the Health Portal.
A referral is not required for appointments with a gynecologist, psychiatrist, ophthalmologist, dentist, or dermatologist (doctor of skin and venereal diseases). A referral is also not required for paid appointments.
If you attend an appointment without a referral from a GP or specialist, you will be required to pay for the appointment as well as for any related tests, examinations, and procedures.
