Sample collection and preparation
To obtain accurate results in laboratory tests, it is important that samples are collected correctly. On the page below, you will find recommendations on how to collect samples correctly and how to prepare for blood tests.
Providing samples
The procedure rooms are located in five units of the West Tallinn Central Hospital:
- choose the most suitable location for you – the locations of the procedure rooms can be found here
- book an appointment and come to provide your samples – book an appointment for a blood test

Paid laboratory tests
Paid laboratory tests can be ordered via the e-shop.
Paid examinations can also be ordered at the reception desks of the West Tallinn Central Hospital, except for the Women’s Clinic and the Infectious Diseases Clinic. You can pay for tests by card or in cash. After ordering tests, please contact the procedure room to provide your sample.
