Cancer Risk Package
The Cancer Risk Package helps assess your individual risk of developing cancer. It combines laboratory tests, including tumour markers, a questionnaire-based genetic cancer risk assessment, and a consultation with a general practitioner. The results are compiled into a comprehensive report.
The package is designed to assess cancer risk and is not intended to diagnose cancer.
The risk of developing cancer is influenced by a number of factors, including age, sex, genetic predisposition and lifestyle. The Cancer Risk Assessment package brings together relevant laboratory tests and risk assessment in one comprehensive health check. Separate sets of tests are available for women and men, taking sex-specific differences into account.
- Laboratory tests: carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), CA 15-3, CA 125, CA 19-9, HE4 tumour marker, faecal occult blood test, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), complete blood count and alanine aminotransferase (ALT).
- Genetic cancer risk assessment based on a questionnaire.
- Consultation with a general practitioner.
- A report with the test results.
- Laboratory tests: alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), prostate-specific antigen (PSA), free prostate-specific antigen (free PSA), faecal occult blood test, thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), complete blood count, alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and CA 19-9.
