Supporting you throughout your pregnancy
At our Antenatal Department, we monitor and support the health of expectant mothers throughout pregnancy. We register pregnant women for antenatal care, carry out all necessary health checks, help ensure a safe delivery, and support the wellbeing of newborns. Our team is also available 24 hours a day for urgent gynaecological concerns.

You can book an appointment or register for a pregnancy ultrasound scan by emailing rasedus.bron@keskhaigla.ee. Be sure to include your personal identification code, phone number and the time of your last menstruation in the email.
Antenatal care registration
We provide professional and supportive care throughout your pregnancy. You can register for antenatal care from 6–9 weeks of pregnancy.
Appointments with a midwife or obstetrician usually last around 30 minutes.
To help us provide the best possible care, please complete the Antenatal Registration Questionnaire before your first visit. This helps us understand your health history and needs.
Please note: your personal information is kept secure. Test results will not be released by phone or email. You can access your results in person at the clinic or via the patient portal.

Pregnancy certificate for uninsured patients
If you do not have valid health insurance, you must submit a pregnancy certificate (issued by a doctor or midwife) and an application to formalise your health insurance to the Health Insurance Fund. The quickest way to obtain a pregnancy certificate is to book an appointment with a midwife. Please note: for patients without health insurance, this is a paid service. Antenatal admission is intended for the treatment of pregnant patients with various pregnancy-related conditions, as well as acute and chronic general illnesses.
If you are generally healthy and have no chronic conditions, your pregnancy will be monitored by a midwife. If needed, you may also be referred to an obstetrician.
Prenatal screening, fetal ultrasound scans, fetal chromosomal studies, chorionic villus sampling (CVS) and amniocentesis.
The Antenatal Day Assessment Unit is for pregnant women who require examinations or treatment during the day but do not need an overnight hospital stay.
Our breastfeeding support service helps and advises women to ensure that both mothers and babies are comfortable and confident. If needed, we can demonstrate different breastfeeding positions and answer any questions you may have.
Our nutritionist provides professional advice on healthy eating before, during, and after pregnancy (the postnatal period).
A psychologist can provide support and guidance for a range of issues related to pregnancy, motherhood, and women’s health.
