Baby-Friendly Hospital Accreditation

In a baby-friendly hospital, babies and mothers are supported in an environment that promotes health and well-being. This includes encouraging unrestricted breastfeeding, supporting early skin-to-skin contact after birth, initiating breastfeeding as early as possible so the baby receives early protection and the mother recovers faster, and feeding the baby on demand.

EBCOG Accreditation Certificate

The Women's Health Clinic at West Tallinn Central Hospital meets the requirements of the European Board & College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (EBCOG) as a recognised base for obstetrics and gynaecology.

The mission of the EBCOG is to harmonise the training of specialists in obstetrics and gynaecology across Europe at the highest possible standard, in order to provide optimal healthcare in this field throughout Europe.
