Immediate help for victims of sexual violence within the first week

We offer support from a specially trained team if you have experienced sexual violence within the last 7 days. Our professionals understand the impact of sexual violence and provide safe, confidential and professional care.

Immediate actions

We offer the assistance of a specially trained team if you have experienced sexual violence in the last 7 days. Our professionals understand the impact of sexual violence and are able to provide safe and professional support.

If you have experienced sexual violence, please follow these steps:

  • Go to a place where you feel safe. In an emergency, call 112.
  • If you have serious injuries and need urgent medical attention, call 112.
  • Do not wash or change your clothes. To preserve evidence, it is important not to wash yourself or change clothes, even if you feel the urge to do so. When seeking help, take a change of clothes with you. If you have already changed, keep the clothes you were wearing (including underwear) unwashed, preferably in a paper bag.
  • Go as soon as possible to the reception at the Women's Health Clinic of West Tallinn Central Hospital.
