If a victim of sexual violence turns to you as a specialist, or if you suspect sexual violence, it is important to follow the appropriate steps to ensure the person receives the necessary support.

Primary actions
- Advise the victim to seek immediate assistance at the reception of the Women's Health Clinic of West Tallinn Central Hospital.
In the case of a minor
- In cases of confirmed or suspected sexual violence against a child, the police or the local authority child protection services must always be informed.
- Specialised police units are responsible for investigating sexual offences.
