Midwife appointments for pregnant women
Pregnancy monitoring and support
Your midwife supports you throughout pregnancy, monitoring your health and your baby’s development, providing advice, and answering any questions. If needed, the midwife will consult a gynaecologist or refer you to another specialist.

At your first visit, pregnancy is confirmed by ultrasound and blood tests are arranged. A longer appointment (approximately 60 minutes) is then scheduled to complete your pregnancy record. After this, routine visits usually take place once a month, and more frequently towards the end of pregnancy or if required.
Appointments with the midwife and gynaecologist are 30 minutes.
Booking an appointment
You can book an appointment by calling 626 1314 or contacting Antenatal Department on 666 5307 (Monday to Thursday: 8am to 6pm, Friday: 8am to 4pm).
