Breast examination and screening

We provide comprehensive breast examinations for both the investigation of symptoms and routine preventive screening. Our specialists will assess your breast health and, if necessary, refer you for further investigations.

When should you book an appointment?

You should book a breast examination if you have noticed any changes in your breasts. You are also welcome to attend for a routine check, even if you have no specific concerns.

We particularly encourage women who may be at increased risk, for example, if there is a history of breast cancer in their family, to attend for assessment. If necessary, you may be referred for further investigations, such as mammography or breast ultrasound.

Breast cancer screening

If you are included in this year’s breast cancer screening programme, we encourage you to participate in the screening organised by the Health Insurance Fund. You do not need to wait for a referral to take part.
