The Internal Medicine Clinic fulfils a connecting role between the hospital’s various clinics and departments, allowing doctors to see the see the patient as a whole. At the Internal Medicine Clinic, we perform thorough testing on patients and where necessary, treat more than one disease at a time.
ENDOSCOPY DEPARTMENT |
The Endoscopy Department deals with the digestive tract, using endoscopic treatment techniques. |
FUNCTIONAL DIAGNOSTICS DEPARTMENT |
The Functional Diagnostics Department performs tests that ascertain the state of cardiac health. |
GASTROENTEROLOGY DEPARTMENT |
The Gastroenterology Department performs diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the digestive tracts in a hospital setting. |
CARDIOLOGY DEPARTMENT |
The Cardiology Department tests and treats patients with chronic ischemia, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension and thrombosis. |
LUNG TESTING CENTRE |
The Lung Testing Centre performs testing of patients with pulmonary diseases, trains patients on how to use medicines and evaluates effectiveness of the treatment. |
NEPHROLOGY CENTRE |
The Nephrology Centre provides outpatient care, hospital care and dialysis to patients with kidney diseases. It also monitors patients with chronic kidney failure and transplanted kidneys. |
INTERNAL MEDICINE DEPARTMENT |
Patients who require hospitalization are most frequently admitted to the Internal Medicine Department – either through the emergency room or by a referral from a general practitioner. |
