RADIOLOGY

The Radiology Department produces images revealing anatomy and function by passing energy through living tissue. The department uses all of the major radiological equipment, including conventional X-ray machines, ultrasound, computer tomography machines and magnetic resonance imaging.
 

Some forms of radiology pose special requirements for patients.

Radiological procedures are administered in six different buildings in the West Tallinn Central Hospital system.
